A Short Little Post to Get Things Started

So sometimes life can seem sad and even desolate. I mean one child dies every five seconds due to hunger. Yes, I know what you're thinking - isn't the title of this blog's name have optimistic in it? True enough, this blog is to bring a little light into this world with an occasional positive stories and such.

A while ago a college buddy and I had a conversation about me being single, and he said he would find me a man. Sarcastically, I told him what my standards were, such as single, straight, etc., along with outrageous requirements such a 3.95 GPA, 5'10 in height and has an undying love for dolphins, thinking my buddy knew I was being totally sarcastic. But no. I now have blind date with a guy named Moe, who was the valedictorian of his high school and is studying to be a marine biologist. MLIA
